Our aims ...
for All Artists
To promote awareness of the need to protect our images from theft (and words from plagiarism), and highlight the means by which this can be accomplished.
AAPL Members
To monitor the Internet to identify and address the use of images without the owning Artist's consent.
To promote awareness of our collective vigilance against such activities. If you think it wont happen to you, take a look at our Detection Examples page, and think again!
This web site has been published to provide a portal to useful resources available on the Internet, and create a gateway to AAPL membership.
Membership ...
We want our members to be genuinely committed to spending a little of their free time to surf around sites such as eBay, and randomly search for our work. Members of this group therefore need to also be subscribers to the Pet Portrait & Wildlife Artist Forum, and have made at least 20 posts in the forum to be eligible to join the AAPL.
We can be contacted via the Pet Portrait & Wildlife Artist Forum, or on-line from this web site.
AAPL members display our logo on their web sites and Blogs, to advertise our existence, and warn criminals that we are watching-out for the theft of our artwork, and taking action when theft is discovered.
